Booty shakin low slung badass electronic funk with hip house tendencies

The multi-talented George Fotiadis,aka Basement Freaks, has been successfully churning out track after funky track for over ten years now with releases on labels such as Jalapeno, Goodgroove and Wack. His music has a great live sound to it which is quite probably down to the fact that he can play the guitar, bass and drums.

After more than 10 succesfull vinyl releases, 2 full albums and dj performances in almost all European countries the Basement Freaks sound gets in the map of the global underground Funky Breakbeat scene.

Having heard his remix of Smoove & Turrell’s Beggarman single – Jalapeno got wind of the fact the there was some new original Basement Freaks material in the offing and made a swift offer to pick up the project after giving the first ep a listen.

The release has been a huge success for the Basement Freaks with some DJs even saying it’s their best release to date. The EP appealed to a wide range of DJs and there was plenty support across the board.
